As a collaborative company, we’re always seeking new ways to involve our clients with their projects. We are open to all feedback and/or criticism that may come up. What Trinity believes is always at the forefront of projects is making sure we’re meeting client expectations. Although this can be a complicated process, we know it is a crucial one.
Since there are so many different types of clients out there, it’s irresponsible to offer a one-size-fits-all approach. Each client has different wants and needs, and they should be respected as such. We ask our clients a series of important questions to get a feel for what they are looking for. From there, we can make sure we’re starting off on the right track.

Hey, everyone, thanks for checking out another bonus episode of the new Marketing Show getting us on Instagram, TV, YouTube, wherever you’re getting this content, we definitely appreciate you. So today, let’s talk a little bit about meeting client expectation. This is always a tough one. There are typically different types of clients, you know, we find that we work with clients who have everything kind of dialed in with a style guide. And they know exactly what they want.
They have a design or they have goals in mind that we’re trying to solve. You know, those clients are great to work with, but they don’t come along that often. More times than not, we’re working with somebody who either doesn’t know what they need their site or their marketing to accomplish for them. Or we’re working with people who don’t know what they need and how to get it but they will know when they see it. Now that’s the most difficult type of client with somebody who doesn’t know what they want until they see it.
So, here are a couple things that I like to do as a developer, designer, WordPress professional to make sure that I am getting everybody what they need. So first thing is I asked a lot of questions, I asked the main question of what sites do you like? Can you send me some sample sites? Very, very simple? Can you send me some other branding collateral that you have? Can you send me sites that you do not like? Will you send me the competition sites?
From there, we’re able to drill down a little bit and kind of by process of elimination, get on the right track. Now there’s always going to be times we’re gonna have to tweak it, you’re gonna have to change things you’re gonna have to do this or that to it just live slightly. But when you ask the right questions, and you pull information out of them, you’re going to get on a on the right track quicker than you would if you’re just winging it and winging it never works.
