Why Do So Many Marketers Fail?

August 19, 2019 by Nate Baldwin

Why Do So Many Marketers Fail?

Not being able to execute is a common theme throughout digital marketing that we see time and time again. It’s unfortunate, but relatively common in the marketing world for so many marketers to fail. We believe that these failures are the consequences of not adhering to essential basic concepts.

When you enter the world of marketing, there are a variety of different lanes to go down. But, rather than obsessing over your logo take time to develop a strategy. So many marketers fail because they ignore just how necessary strategy is. Once your plan is in place, you must stick to it as closely as possible.

Want to learn about other ways so many marketers fail? Greg’s got you covered.

Hello, and welcome to another bonus episode of the New Marketing Show, catching on Instagram, TV, YouTube, wherever you get this. So today I want to talk about why a lot of marketing initiatives and why a lot of marketers fail.

So I think it comes down to two things.

One, you either don’t have a good strategy in place. Actually, let’s say it’s three things, you don’t have a good strategy in place. You don’t execute the strategy to its fullest, or three, you give up too soon. So let’s go back first things first one, you need to have a good strategy in place, everything that you do need to have rhyme and reason.

You need to have goals attached to it. And you need to know what’s going to move your audience and what’s going to help move the needle your business to, you need to execute that strategy. with precision. When I say precision, I mean precision, you need to know exactly what you’re going to do when you’re going to do it, how you’re going to do it, who you’re talking to what goals are attached to that, and you’re going to measure it accordingly.

This is where review, refine, repeat come in. And then third, I think a lot of people just get impatient with the results. And they’re waiting for a miracle to happen right out of the gate, especially when it comes to SEO or comes to social initiatives. It’s just not like that, you know, I wish that it was would make my life way more easier.

But too many people give up too soon. Before all the good stuff and all the work. All the execution all the strategy pays off. So be a little bit patient.

Make sure you execute with precision. Make sure you have a plan in place. Hey, thanks for watching. Talk to you soon.
