The Power of Data

The Power of Data

Behind every decision you make should be a set of data. Without collecting and review the numbers, decision making is difficult and baseless. So, first and foremost, you must find a way to manage pertinent data. We use tools such as Agency Analytics to provide us with a one-stop service that tracks data for each of our clients. Analytical tools are one of the most ideal ways to make your behind-the-scenes action a little more accessible. Without needing much experience, you can ensure your collected data is as valuable as possible.

One way to utilize the power of data is by letting the numbers tell the story and basing decisions on these findings. What’s working and when? How is it working better on other sites? What can we improve? Answer all of these questions once you collect statistics.

Here at digital marketing agency Trinity Web Media, we remind you never to overlook the power of data.

Hello, welcome to another bonus episode of the new Marketing Show catches on Instagram TV, YouTube, where you get this content, we definitely appreciate you. So today I want to talk about the power of data, and more specifically, how to make moves with data and what to do with the data. First of all, you need to collect the data. So make sure that all of your digital marketing initiatives, your website, everything is tied to some sort of reporting mechanism. We like to use a tool called agency analytics, which pulls all the data from Facebook, it pulls all of our Google Analytics data and pulls everything into one spot. So then we can go ahead and look at it in one big in one big picture in one place.

The reason why we want to do that is going to get to my second point here is when you have data, what you can do then is you can predict, historically, what’s likely to happen now I’m not going to say what’s going to happen but you can predict what’s likely to happen and you can start to Hello, and see certain trends, whether it’s your content, what type of content resonates best on what day, or what time, maybe you can see some sales data like when are you busy as you can staff on ramp up accordingly, you know, other things that we like to do with the data.

And the biggest thing that I really like to do with the data is, I like to go ahead and let the data start telling the story. And once you understand what the story is via the data, you’re able to go ahead and make moves, you’re able to go ahead and craft strategy, you’re able to go ahead and push out the right content, you’re able to go ahead and maybe against staff accordingly, you’re able to go ahead and make sure you’re reaching the right person at the right time, based on historical historical story that’s being told. So don’t ignore data.

You know, there’s a lot of cool things we can do. We can drill down a segment data and the personas or avatars and and make sure that you know, maybe between two and 6pm certain type of person is engaged with your brand, maybe early morning, a different type of person is engaged with your brand. And you’re able to go and craft and push out messages that are one to one messages so that we’re again, we’re tapping into the person to person, the human, the human marketing side of things. So we’re able to make sure that we give them exactly what they need when they want to receive it. So don’t ignore data. Let data tell you the tell the bigger story of your brand or your your business. Don’t ignore data.

So hey, thanks for watching. You catch us on the New Marketing Show at trinitywebmedia.com/Apple-podcast, wherever else you get your podcasts, Instagram TV, you get us on YouTube, all these videos, so definitely check us out and let us know if there’s anything you’d like us to talk about.

What our clients say…

Jay Baer

If you need to take your web/digital program to the next level, these are the guys to see. Fast, honest, innovative and totally on top of it. Highly recommended! • Jay Baer – NY Times Best-selling Author, Founder/President – Convince and Convert

What our clients say…

While I’ve known Greg for years from our time together in the marketing scene, I’ve only recently had the chance to work with Trinity Web Media on a client project. Not only was the team professional and their work spot on, they were amazingly quick to respond and required very little hand-holding along the way. I chalk that up to their past experience and a deep understanding of best-in-class services.

What our clients say…

I have hired Greg and the Trinity team multiple times for work on my own websites, and have also hired them to work on behalf of multiple clients. He is simply a pleasure to work with, in every respect. Smart but without the giant ego of some developers, Trinity Web Media works with his clients to achieve their vision in the best way possible — with careful attention to their interests, and thoughtful recommendations based on his expertise. • Susan Baier – Founding Marketing Strategist – Audience Audit
