Sticking to the Plan

Sticking to the Plan

Everything in marketing comes down to execution. Without a proper plan or digital marketing strategy in place, your ability to truly execute anything is flawed. On today’s Trinity Web Minute with Greg Taylor, he discusses everything to need to be in place before kick-starting a campaign and then sticking to the plan.

It’s easy to move quickly from one plan to the other if things don’t seem to be working. This is often where most marketers fail. The trick here is to continue the project in motion without giving up to soon.

If you are a company looking to develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy of your own, feel free to contact Trinity Web Media here.

Hey everyone, thanks chicken out another bonus episode of the new Marketing Show catching us on Instagram, TV, YouTube, our blog, all those good places where we get this content. So we definitely appreciate you today, I want to talk about developing a digital marketing strategy, developing a plan, executing the plan sticking to it. So let me go, let me try my head sticking to it. Nothing good happens with anything that you do if you don’t stick to it.

And you have the perseverance to see things through without that. Impatience will settle in, and you’re going to stop doing what you’re doing because you’re frustrated. So it’s okay to be frustrated. It’s not okay to quit.

So that’s the first thing I want to talk about. Second thing is, is no matter what you do, whenever you have something that you want to do, or a new initiative or a new division, or maybe a new product or some wild idea, the first thing to do is to sketch out a plan. What is the roadmap look like? What is the road Look like, at the end of the roadmap, and what does success look like?

Once you have those things down, and once you have that stuff really honed in, you’re going to then be able to craft a strategy, how to get there, you know, you can have a plan. But if you don’t have a plan on how to execute the plan, I know that sounds a little ridiculous. But if you don’t have a strategy to execute your plan, you’re not going to go anywhere. And that’s where you’re going to want to quit and that’s where frustration is going to come in. And that’s where everything like quitting and perseverance, all that shit is going to happen.

So it’s really important to understand that nothing happens without hard work. Too often we’re told, you know, follow, you know, find a job that you’re in love with. You’ll never have to work another day in your life. That’s all wrong, because you’re gonna have to work if anything, you’re gonna have to work harder than ever because you are so invested in it. And the difference is though, you’re not going to mind working harder than ever, because you’re you are invested too and you do love what you’re doing, but it’s always going to be work.

So don’t quit, execute, get a digital marketing strategy, get a plan, and I think that you’re going to you’ll start seeing things a little bit differently. It’s okay also, if your plan and your strategy is not working, it’s okay to eject and get a new strategy and get a new plan.

So hey, thanks for watching. You get more episodes like this at Trinitywebmedia.com/Apple-podcast, wherever else you get your podcasts, YouTube, Instagram TV, all that good stuff. See you soon.
