Review, Refine, Repeat

June 27, 2019 by Nate Baldwin

Review, Refine, Repeat

One idea that we always go back to and applies to almost every aspect of a business is; Review, Refine, Repeat. At the basis of everything you do, you should be collecting analytics to see what’s working and what’s not. After you evaluate the performance using data, it’s then time to tweak your strategy to improve your results. This process is then repeated over and over again until the numbers speak for themselves.

Whether we’re talking about a comprehensive digital marketing strategy or even just social media posts, the “review, refine, repeat” mindset will help you perfect your performance in more way than one.

Hey, everyone, thanks for checking out another bonus episode of the New Marketing Show, catch us on Instagram, TV, or YouTube wherever you’re getting this content. Today, we’re gonna talk about one of my favorite topics in marketing; review, refine, repeat.

You know, it sort of touches on everything that we do. Everything that you produce, every piece of content, every website you develop, every social media post, at some point, there has to be analytics attached to that, if you don’t have analytics attached to that you’re missing the ball, and you’re missing an opportunity. So you always have to be reviewing what you’re doing and reviewing to see if it’s working, how it’s working. And if it doesn’t work, how are you going to fix it.

So, review, review, review, everything you do has to have analytics attached to it in some way, shape, or form. Because you can’t improve what you don’t measure. From there, you’re going to refine it, we’re going to see what’s working, what’s not working. And we’re going to fix it, we’re going to do more of what’s work working, what’s not working. I’m a big fan of trying to make that work. And if you try to make that work, and it fails, again, stop doing it.

The worst thing to do and the worst energy and effort to spend is when you spend a lot of energy, effort, time money on something that’s not working because you don’t know that it’s not working. From there, you’re going to go ahead and you’re going to relaunch it. You’re going to repeat the whole process over and over and over.

You know, when it comes to us develop a WordPress sites that especially like SEO, review, refine, repeat is the biggest thing that we use over and over or doing content marketing, review, what topics resonate with what persona, and we look at the analytics to see what’s the conversion rate, how people are getting, you know, the entrance paths, and the exit paths, you know, where they’re going with all of the content and what journeys have taken them on.

So review, refine, repeat, if you’re not using that in your marketing or web development stuff, you’re really missing a lot of opportunities. So step it up, review everything, refine it and do it all over again. Hey, thanks for watching. You can catch us on Apple podcast on Apple podcasts.
