Opinion vs. Execution

In the world of digital marketing, it’s not hard to find someone that’s giving out advice. Whether it’s about your development, strategy, SEO, or really anything that has a market, you’ll come across an endless amount of opinions. But the question we go back to is, just how valid are these opinions?

Without execution, all these opinions are basically useless. Learn from those who have been lived in the industry and gained experience rather than those who get paid to give out advice.

There’s a big difference between those in the opinion business versus execution business. Tune in to learn more.

Hello and welcome to a bonus episode of the new Marketing Show Marketing Podcast where we talk about how effective digital marketing and web development solve business problems. So today I want to rant a little bit. Let’s talk about people who is specifically in marketing and business development. Let’s talk about people who are in the opinion business versus people who are in the execution business.

So there are a lot of people out there, you know, the world is full of people who will give you their opinion. They will give you your opinion on SEO, web development, definitely social media, content, marketing, main podcasting. All these people are super quick to tell you what they think what they would do, would do, and how they would go ahead and execute a strategy, right? A lot of these people are in the marketing or web opinion business.

My problem is half of the people selling courses, half of the people who go ahead who are so quick to give you their opinion, never have actually executed anything, or been a part of any kind of tactical team to go ahead and put things in motion.

So where I come from, ideas are bullshit, execution is everything said Gary Vee, that’s one of the points that he’s always driven home. So here’s the deal. If you’re going to waste your time listening to everybody about their opinion, you are never going to get anything done.

I would rather you talk to people who have the pedigree of making things happen. A strong background in executing ideas, a strong background and making sure that everything you do with data and make sure that people are executing, what they talk about what they have opinions, you know, opinions are worthless.

Opinions are even more worthless than ideas in this world. Execution is everything if you want to work with somebody who’s worked a grant, and so talk to them about how they’re going to implement and execute ideas. Don’t worry about people’s opinion.
