As we continue to transition into the world of Gutenberg, more and more possibilities are being explored. With the help of our favorite SEO tool, Yoast, you can utilize structured blocks to optimize clean FAQ pages. The future of Gutenberg has, at times, felt rocky, but as more plugins just on board, the world of WordPress development will expand.
It is exciting to take on the challenges of new technology while embracing change. As marketers, we once believed that if you needed a FAQ page, you simply weren’t doing your job in the first place. But, with updates, we now see FAQ pages as a massive opportunity for your site’s SEO rankings.

Hey everyone, thanks for checking in, another bonus episode of the new Marketing Show catching us on Instagram, TV, YouTube. Wherever you get our podcasts and content, we definitely appreciate you today. I’m gonna change my tune on something. And I was standing firm on this for quite a long time, FAQ pages frequently asked questions.
So it has always been my approach as a marketer, and as a content marketer and content creator, that if you really have to keep directing people to FAQ pages, if you have to keep giving them links that FAQ pages are relying on your FAQ page to answer simple questions.
There’s a gap in your content, but the tides have turned. So now with Gutenberg, with Yoast SEO, with structured blocks from Yoast SEO, and with all of the the schema markup that Yoast can now handle with a structured box.
I am getting to love FAQ pages, it’s an easy way to get your content ranked. Because if you use Yoast, and you use the properly structured data block from Gutenberg, within WordPress, that content, the code is going to be so clean, the code is going to be so search friendly, that it’s going to help you rank better.
So now, what we’re doing for our company and what we’re going to start doing for clients is we’re going to create FAQ pages on bunch of different topics. So like for us, we are FAQ page now, for social media marketing, we have FAQ page, your web design, FAQs, your content marketing, etc, etc.
We find this content is an easy way to get people into the site, answer their questions in a short amount of time, and then also get them on their way and maybe get them to contact us or to you know, consume more of our content.
You know, an FAQ page a good structured FAQ answer also is a quick way to qualify. You as being an expert and letting them know that you know exactly what you’re talking for. And you are the type of provider who can solve their problem.
And they also kind of enjoy maybe the personality, the tone of the brand, etc, etc. So, where once i really really was down FAQ pages, times of churn, I’d like FAQ pages now, as long as they’re done correctly, using WordPress, Gutenberg, using Yost using structured content of schema, if you know how to go ahead and write that content, or Reto already with the schema markup. Awesome.
Disregard everything I just said, you already know what we’re talking about. But if you don’t know about that, check it out. So create good FAQ pages that are helpful. You’ll see yourself ranking better.
