The principles of content marketing (and social media) are simple. Connect. Engage. Perform. When you look at it logically it’s a simple step by step process:
Connect with your audience and the right people. Make sure your sphere of influence are people who can move the needle, help you learn and are comprised of your target audience. This is important. I would rather have a community of 100 people who I connect with vs. 12,000 followers that are scattered across the board. (Check out our podcast about Vanity Metrics.)
Engage: Make sure you are engaging with people and provide high value, perhaps even using an infotainment model. If you engage a connected audience you are starting to win the content marketing and social media battle.
Perform: Know your goals for each piece of content and how it moves you towards your desired results. This is the part where you can use the Review, Refine, Repeat methods Trinity always talks about.

While I’ve known Greg for years from our time together in the marketing scene, I’ve only recently had the chance to work with Trinity Web Media on a client project. Not only was the team professional and their work spot on, they were amazingly quick to respond and required very little hand-holding along the way. I chalk that up to their past experience and a deep understanding of best-in-class services.
I have hired Greg and the Trinity team multiple times for work on my own websites, and have also hired them to work on behalf of multiple clients. He is simply a pleasure to work with, in every respect. Smart but without the giant ego of some developers, Trinity Web Media works with his clients to achieve their vision in the best way possible — with careful attention to their interests, and thoughtful recommendations based on his expertise. • Susan Baier – Founding Marketing Strategist – Audience Audit
