So you want to improve your podcast but your not sure what changes to make. You think things are going well but your stats seemed to have plateaued. On today’s Trinity Web Minute, Greg Taylor offers these 3 tips to improve your podcast production and preparation (which is key).
First, when producing your podcast, you should have knowledge of the topic you are talking about. This tip may seem like common sense, but how can you solve a problem you know nothing about? Next, when having a guest on your show, the biggest question you should ask yourself is if you have you done your research so you know their body of work? Again, this may seem like a no-brainer, but knowing your guest will allow them to speak to their expertise, understand where the overlap in both of your audiences are and allow your guest to talk about or promote their business or initiative. The final tip has everything to do with broadcasting your podcast. There are many options on where to broadcast your podcast but what platforms are going to reach the intended audience?
While these tips may not solve all your podcast woes, they will help you increase engagement, utilize your podcast to find your target audience and use your guests effectively.
