Transitioning from IGTV to Reels

Since “Review, Refine, Repeat” is the name of the game here at Trinity, we’re always doing our best to improve the ways we bring you content. As Reels becomes more of a center point on Instagram, our media team has decided on a slight pivot. Don’t worry; the same great content will be posted here on our website and youtube, but our IG page is switching things up.

As we advance, you can catch 30-second clips with Greg on our Instagram page in the Reels section. These clips will be short takes on everything in the digital marketing world. We’ll continue answering industry questions as well as giving you tips along the way.

Make sure you give our profile a follow, so you don’t miss out on any new media!

Hey everybody, Greg Taylor, Trinity Web Media. Thanks for checking out another bonus episode, the Trinity, or the new marketing, almost said Trinity web minute, but it’s no longer a minute. That’s the news.

What we’re doing is, you know, the way that we’ve always done our videos, we always we, where we broadcast our content was I would shoot a minute video and on an abbreviated topic, and we would post it to our Instagram feed. And then I’d shoot a longer video. And we would push that out to our Instagram TV, YouTube, our website, pod bean, all that good stuff, Apple podcasts, all that good stuff.

The reason that we did it that way was because I thought it was easier for me just to shoot two quick videos, an abbreviated lawn and sort of an unabridged one versus having, you know, our editor. I’m just perplexed that somebody would park like that on the wrong, totally wrong side of the street. Anyway, it’s easier for me to shoot a video that way, then have our editor there kind of take things and little bits and pieces and cut it down from three minutes to a minute, because I think that sometimes it’ll lose context or points may not be as strong, etc, etc.

Whether we’re going to keep doing things are I’m going to shoot 30-second videos, it’s going to go to reels. We’re going to publish this longer video. And it’s going to go out through all of our syndication stuff, including YouTube, our website and all that good stuff. So just trying something different. And you know, I talk a lot about review, refine, review, refine, repeat, I talk a lot about like, how do you do things, do things differently, do things better, etc, etc.

So this is trying something. I was trying to stimulate some of the content, I was trying to make things better. I was trying to just, you know, go ahead and make sure that you get the content that you need. We answer the questions that you want, and that we’re still you know, talking to you about digital marketing and WordPress, you know, in the places where you hang out.

So with that being said, we’re going to head back to the office, and I will keep making videos. We’ll talk to you soon. Thanks.

What our clients say…

Jay Baer

If you need to take your web/digital program to the next level, these are the guys to see. Fast, honest, innovative and totally on top of it. Highly recommended! • Jay Baer – NY Times Best-selling Author, Founder/President – Convince and Convert

What our clients say…

While I’ve known Greg for years from our time together in the marketing scene, I’ve only recently had the chance to work with Trinity Web Media on a client project. Not only was the team professional and their work spot on, they were amazingly quick to respond and required very little hand-holding along the way. I chalk that up to their past experience and a deep understanding of best-in-class services.

What our clients say…

I have hired Greg and the Trinity team multiple times for work on my own websites, and have also hired them to work on behalf of multiple clients. He is simply a pleasure to work with, in every respect. Smart but without the giant ego of some developers, Trinity Web Media works with his clients to achieve their vision in the best way possible — with careful attention to their interests, and thoughtful recommendations based on his expertise. • Susan Baier – Founding Marketing Strategist – Audience Audit
