Hey, what’s up all my social media experts, social media managers, everyone that spends way too much time on Instagram. Here I am checking in with a quick tip for you and who you should be following to keep up on the latest news with Instagram.
As I always say, the best way to succeed on social media is to adapt. You can’t be going through social media for years on end, doing the same exact things with the same exact tactics, you have to keep up on the latest features and the latest trends that are put out by Instagram. So what’s the easiest way to do that would be the follow these two accounts.
The first one is the Instagram, Instagram creators account. That’s the @creators. It features some of the biggest creators on the platform. And they talk about trends and the newest things that are getting bigger on Instagram, as well as some tips on, say, partnering with brands or learning about your insights. It’s really about the creator itself, as the page is aptly named. It’s good for influencers. And it’s really good for just keeping track of trends, as I’ve said.
But the next one, the next account that you should be following, I think is the most important. And that’s the head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, sorry if I’m saying your last name wrong, Mosseri.
He puts out some of the latest announcements that Instagram backs up, which would be you know, Instagram no longer focusing on static imagery, and really focusing on immersive video, or the latest announcements of reels and the new features that are being rolled out like chronological timelines again, or other features that are really important to stay on top of as a social media manager. So keep on to those two accounts as you’re going forward.
Make sure you give them a follow, turn on notifications and you’ll be ready to stay ready to adapt on Instagram and stay on top of all the new updates. I’ll talk to you soon.
