Working Harder Doesn’t Scale

Working Harder Doesn’t Scale

As we dive into the new year, our team has been looking for different ways to expand our services. Growing as a company has quite the experience for the Trinity team, but it’s time to take things to the next level. How do we do so? Well, to begin, it’s not all just about working harder. With our workload reaching an all-time high, it’s seemingly impossible for our team to work any harder than we already are. It’s time to work smarter.

As Greg mentions in today’s Trinity Web Minute, we can’t work twice as hard to double our revenue. For 2020, our team intends to introduce products that will add value for our clients and take some burden off of our team.

Hey, I’m Greg Taylor from Trinity Web Media. Here’s another bonus episode of the New Marketing Show. So happy 2020. 2020 is off to a rock and start here.

And, you know, we’ve been talking a lot about growth, and we’re talking a lot about scaling. We’re talking a lot about what works, what doesn’t work, talking a lot about historically what we’ve done that works, talking a lot about what we’ve done, it doesn’t work.

So here we are, you know, the biggest realization that we’ve all come to and that everybody needs to come to is working harder doesn’t scale.

I can’t work twice as hard to grow my revenue twice as much at point at some point, that’s just a race to zero and exhaustion and burnout. So some of the things that we’re doing is, you know, trinity web media, we’re looking to introduce new products for our clients. We’re looking at introducing products ourselves.

We’re looking to do more content, initiatives, more a paid search, you know, we’re trying to get all the things that we haven’t done in the past. Now let’s get them in the mix. To make things different, you don’t.

Like I said, working harder doesn’t scale. So what does scale working with the right clients working on bigger projects? Being more efficient system scale? processes scale? Working harder doesn’t.

So keep going back to that point. So some of the things that we’re working on is, how can we automate systems so that we can help our clients achieve results, but still get paid the amount that we’ve been getting paid?

Now when when there’s new things, there’s more value there and there’s more hands on, we’re we’re available to other clients to help solve some of their problems.

So just a new mindset for 2020. Again, I’m gonna say it one more time, working harder does not scale. So hey, thanks for checking us out. We’re back with the New Marketing Show.

There’s new episodes coming at you every week. We just dropped one recently about big box marketing companies and about how, how their contracts kind of really rope you into staying for too long.

So make sure you check it out. Let us know what you think. See you soon.

What our clients say…

Jay Baer

If you need to take your web/digital program to the next level, these are the guys to see. Fast, honest, innovative and totally on top of it. Highly recommended! • Jay Baer – NY Times Best-selling Author, Founder/President – Convince and Convert

What our clients say…

While I’ve known Greg for years from our time together in the marketing scene, I’ve only recently had the chance to work with Trinity Web Media on a client project. Not only was the team professional and their work spot on, they were amazingly quick to respond and required very little hand-holding along the way. I chalk that up to their past experience and a deep understanding of best-in-class services.

What our clients say…

I have hired Greg and the Trinity team multiple times for work on my own websites, and have also hired them to work on behalf of multiple clients. He is simply a pleasure to work with, in every respect. Smart but without the giant ego of some developers, Trinity Web Media works with his clients to achieve their vision in the best way possible — with careful attention to their interests, and thoughtful recommendations based on his expertise. • Susan Baier – Founding Marketing Strategist – Audience Audit
