Various Ways to Repurpose Content

As you may have noticed, here at Trinity Web Media, we believe content is king. With content marketing continuing to be one of the top ways to get your brand found and recognized online, finding various ways to repurpose content is crucial to a successful strategy.

So, what are a few ways one can leverage content from platform to platform? If you’re willing to put in the work, capitalizing on your content is more possible than ever before.

Let’s start with an example of just how many different ways you can repurpose a podcast. Think about bonus episodes and how you can share them on different social media channels. Also, think about how you can post shows on your website with a detailed transcript.

Check out this week’s Trinity Web Minute with Greg Taylor to learn about even more ideas as to how you can repurpose your content all over the web.

Hey everyone, Greg Taylor Trinity Web Media. Here’s another bonus episode of the New Marketing Show. Today I want to talk about one of my favorite concecepts. And topics which is repurposing content.

So, you know, we create a lot of content in Trinity Web Media, you know, we do a lot of videos, we do a lot of, you know, broadcasts, you know, whether it be on Instagram TV, or a lot of social media stuff. And what we always try to do is we always try to maximize our effort by figuring out how else can we take that piece of content?

And where else can What else can we do with it. So take, for example, a video like this, that you’re watching on Instagram, TV, or YouTube or on our website, what we then can do is we can take it to a transcription service, and they’ll transcribe it and give us back all of the written words.

Then what we can do from there is we can use that a for our description on YouTube or wherever. And be, we can also go ahead and take it and post it as a blog post on its own with a link to the video, or whatever, you know, this is an easy way to take one piece of content and make it into to not make it into a third one, what you can do is strip out just the audio.

And maybe you go ahead, and you post that just as a podcast as somebody, so someplace like PodBean, which, who’s what we use, and make sure that you’re, you’re able to go ahead and just have that stuff blasted out, you know, to people’s phones in an easy way in a more of a subscription manner.

You know, creating content takes a lot of time, creating content, is a lot of work. creating content actually is pretty costly. When you go ahead and you look at all the different people, you know, within our company, I have to shoot it. And then you know, Nate, our media manager goes ahead and he does all the production of it and the posting of it. And then we pay for transcription.

So what we want to do is we want to make sure that we’re maximizing our dollars by taking one piece of content and leveraging into many, you know, you can take maybe even a still shot of this and post it as social media posts. There’s tons of different ways to do it if you get creative, but these are just some of our favorite way. So thanks for watching.

For more episodes like this, make sure you subscribe to us on Apple, Apple podcasts or Spotify, Stitcher, all that good stuff or on YouTube, you can get us to Trinitywebmedia.com and we’ll keep posting content like this. Thanks for watching.

What our clients say…

While I’ve known Greg for years from our time together in the marketing scene, I’ve only recently had the chance to work with Trinity Web Media on a client project. Not only was the team professional and their work spot on, they were amazingly quick to respond and required very little hand-holding along the way. I chalk that up to their past experience and a deep understanding of best-in-class services.

What our clients say…

I have hired Greg and the Trinity team multiple times for work on my own websites, and have also hired them to work on behalf of multiple clients. He is simply a pleasure to work with, in every respect. Smart but without the giant ego of some developers, Trinity Web Media works with his clients to achieve their vision in the best way possible — with careful attention to their interests, and thoughtful recommendations based on his expertise. • Susan Baier – Founding Marketing Strategist – Audience Audit
