Let’s face it; we’ve all been going through a lot recently with the pandemic safety protocols that have been put into place. Although here at Trinity Web Media, we’ve adopted the best we can, it’s still troubling to accept the “new norm.”
We can all agree that this “new norm” is NOT normal. As much as we can pretend it is, accepting the changes in place has been difficult.
Join Greg Taylor as he chats about a topic that has been on a lot of our minds recently. Dealing with the “new norm” is a trivial task that we must all work together to overcome. If you would like to continue this discussion, feel free to reach out to us via our website or on social!

Hey everyone, thanks check it out another bonus episode of the new market show catch us on YouTube, Instagram, all that great stuff. So, you know, I heard something really interesting today that so many people so many times we’re referring to everything that’s going on in the world as the new norm.
And I’m tired of it. I don’t think that it’s accurate. So today I heard something totally different and it kind of paints a different picture and it just is rephrases things a little differently.
People are saying our current reality. Now how powerful is that when you say our current reality versus our new nor current reality everybody can relate to reality like real what’s going on within them? And hopefully so most people can identify and most people can go ahead and understand that this is reality.
When you say norm, you using the word normal. When you use the word normal, I think it’s highly subjective. And it’s open to interpretation based on the context. And from there, you don’t know what’s normal for one person may not be normal, somebody else, etc, etc.
So when you’re thinking about your marketing your business situation, think about your current reality. Let’s not think about the business landscape as the new norm.
Because we all know right now, nothing is normal, you know, as we know, so, if you change your paradigm, and if you reframe this a little bit, again, you know, marketing, you know, I credit my friend Josh searing saying this, you always want to control the narrative and correct the facts.
So if we control the narrative a little bit more and a little bit better, and compensate our new reality or our current react art, you frame it as your current reality.
I think it’s way more powerful and it will and it resonates definitely with more people, with your audience, with everybody that you’re trying to reach. Thanks checking us out. You can get more episodes of this YouTube Instagram pod via Apple podcasts, all that great stuff. So, hope everybody’s safe out there. Talk to you soon.
