It should come as no surprise just how much we love the technology behind WordPress. But aside from the tech & amazing community, when it comes down to it, WordPress at it’s core is a blog. Even if you may think that blogs have saturated the web, you can’t deny the raw power of blogging. Whether it’s building your personal brand or growing awareness of your business, blogs are one of the best tools to do it. WordPress blogs allow you to focus on what’s most important, the content. This then translates into growing your SEO rankings, rather than a site like Wix, which is more heavy on design elements.
Hey everyone, welcome to another episode of the New Marketing Show. Thanks for catching us on Instagram TV or wherever you’re getting us. So today I want to talk about blogging. You know,a lot of people want to build blogs, a lot of people ask, what software should I use? What? How should I build a blog? What should I do? What theme should I use? I think that WordPress is always going to be your answer when it comes to that. And I also think that what you need to do is, a lot of times people will have ideas and they’ll sit on their ideas because they’re so caught up in the details, and not caught up in the execution of things.
Again, I know I’ve talked a lot about this recently, but when it comes to just going ahead and creating a blog and blogging, whether it’s personal whether it’s business, no matter what it is, I think that you should always use the best tool at hand and still, in my mind, WordPress is the best tool. Within 20 minutes you can spin up something and you can be creating your own content.
So if you have content on your mind and you want to be able to go ahead and exercise your voice, and tap into what Matt always says about democratizing publishing, still, WordPress is the way to go. And do it as simple as possible concentrate on the content. Then you can add all the bells and whistles as your audience defines it.
So hey, thanks for checking us out. We’ll talk to you soon.
