Going Outside Of Your Comfort Zone

September 2, 2019 by Kevin Eberle

Going Outside Of Your Comfort Zone

Today’s topic isn’t about the typical topics of digital marketing and WordPress website development. We’re switching things up to get into some advice that may help you more than anything. As your company grows and essential decisions need to be made, it’s crucial to stay aware of taking risks.

Of course, taking a risk is intimidating, but once you step outside of your comfort zone, you’ll be amazed by what you can make happen. As we always say, taking your company to the next level requires next-level action. If you are only willing to accept the status quo, your brand can only go so far.

For more on going outside of your comfort zone, check out Greg Taylor on this week’s Trinity Web Minute.

Everyone, welcome to another bonus episode of the New Marketing Show. Catch us on Instagram, IGTV, where are you getting this content I do appreciate you checking in.

So today I want to talk a little bit about a topic a little bit different than just WordPress or marketing.

I want to talk about overall success and what sort of breeds success. And a couple things that I like to do to help kind of ensure and hedge my bet. So one thing I want to talk about a little bit about comfort zone. You know, as developers, as marketers, as designers, as people, as humans, as co workers, as friends is all that, you know, we fall a lot, we fall very often into our comfort zone.

And like I think I mentioned a couple of videos ago, or maybe last video, that all the good stuff happens when you get out of your comfort zone. So I would challenge you to try to do one thing that you’re scared of, or one thing that’s way out of your comfort zone.

So you can go ahead and start to change things and start to see things a little bit different. You know, if you do things over and over and over the same way, you’re going to get the same results, right?

I think that, but if you want to do things better, you need to be willing to do things differently. You know, next level results take next level efforts. And sometimes it takes next level risks. Sometimes it takes next level ideas. Sometimes it just takes everything being next level.

And anytime we talk about next level, I think next level is a way to sugarcoat getting out of your comfort zone and doing things that make you uncomfortable and doing things that maybe scare you and doing things that you’re not certain up doing things that maybe you are not as good at at, as you’re willing to admit. So I think that to sum this up, you know, to achieve great things we got to do great.

We’ve got to put in great effort and execute on ideas in a different manner. Right? Lot of times at different manner from getting out of your comfort zone. Getting out of the familiar, stepping into things that are unfamiliar, stepping into things that you know, maybe scare the shit out of you and etc. Give it a go. Let us know how you let us know how it fares for you.

So hey, thanks for watching. I really do appreciate it and you can get more content like this at Trinitywebmedia.com.

What our clients say…

Jay Baer

If you need to take your web/digital program to the next level, these are the guys to see. Fast, honest, innovative and totally on top of it. Highly recommended! • Jay Baer – NY Times Best-selling Author, Founder/President – Convince and Convert

What our clients say…

While I’ve known Greg for years from our time together in the marketing scene, I’ve only recently had the chance to work with Trinity Web Media on a client project. Not only was the team professional and their work spot on, they were amazingly quick to respond and required very little hand-holding along the way. I chalk that up to their past experience and a deep understanding of best-in-class services.

What our clients say…

I have hired Greg and the Trinity team multiple times for work on my own websites, and have also hired them to work on behalf of multiple clients. He is simply a pleasure to work with, in every respect. Smart but without the giant ego of some developers, Trinity Web Media works with his clients to achieve their vision in the best way possible — with careful attention to their interests, and thoughtful recommendations based on his expertise. • Susan Baier – Founding Marketing Strategist – Audience Audit
