As we continue to adjust to the craziness all around us, it’s essential to take time to reflect and check-in with others. Many of us have been disproportionally affected by this pandemic; it’s hard to pinpoint who and what is struggling most. Something we can all agree on is that in recent months, stress and anxiety have been at an all-time high.
After six long months of lock-down, it’s no wonder so many people are struggling significantly. As productivity levels feel like they are dropping due to these unprecedented circumstances, a sense of worry has crept in. With that being said, now is a crucial time to check-in with others. Let them know you are here for them; sometimes an open ear is all people need.
We’ll get through these trivial times together, but it takes a team effort. Tune in to today’s Trinity Web Minute with marketing expert Greg Taylor as he checks in and invites you to do the same.

Hey everyone, welcome to a bonus episode of the new Marketing Show catching us on Instagram, TV, YouTube, all that good stuff coming to you, from my backyard here in Oakland, New Jersey, outside Philadelphia.
You know, we’re all dealing with a lot of the same stuff. And we’re all dealing with this world that’s kind of gone crazy. We’re all dealing with what a lot of people are referring to as a new norm, which I choose not to recognize, because this is not normal.
So what I’m thinking is today, I just want to do a quick video. I just check in with everybody. So how’s everybody doing out there? You guys stay safe? Are you guys seeing healthy guys stay insane. I mean, we’ve had a lot happen in our world. Since February, March. I mean, we have the pandemic. You know, we have political enterprise.
We have a lot of tension between the public and the police, we have a lot going on, you know, we have, you know, the media, putting things in our ear, from every which way, and you know what, I’m going to own up a little bit of it, you know, being a content creator, you know, perhaps I’m a little guilty of that, too, you know, we try to keep our message, you know, uplifting and things like how we can, how you can help yourself or help your business.
But, you know, maybe we’re not doing a great job. Maybe it’s time for everybody to take a hiatus from creating content, I don’t know. But the thing that I know what’s going on is, I know that all of the shit that’s happening in the world is taking its toll on me. And it’s taking a toll on people around me.
And when I see strong, courageous people that I look up to in the business world saying, Hey, I’m struggling with this or I’m strong going without I’m struggling with mental health issues.
I’m struggling with being productive. I’m struggling with getting out of bed. I’m struggling with anxiety. I’m struggling with depression. You know, I want to just say to everybody out there who’s experiencing some of that stuff that you’re not alone.
And also, we all are dealing with it. I myself I’m dealing with, I know that right now, since everything has shut down. And since in here in New Jersey, pretty much the hard shutdown started, like right now St. Patrick’s Day, and here we are, and towards the end of August. And if my math is right, that’s about five months.
So almost a half a year, you know, we’ve been shut down locked down where we can’t live our lives as normal, you know, my co working space, shut down, it reopened. I chose not to go to it only because I chose not to engage with some of the more political conversations that I knew that would be happening or some of the other stuff. And I want to say that, you know, the biggest thing that I struggle with right now is product tivity it’s hard to be motivated.
It’s hard to be on your game all the time I got this dog here. All she wants to do is play ball. You know, all, it’s hard to stay on top of things, it’s hard to be motivated, hard to be productive, like I once was.
And I think that that is just a sign of it’s not a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of recognizing what’s going on. So what do we do from here, you know, the first sign is recognizing it. Second thing is talking about it. The third thing is knowing that you’re not alone in what’s going on. And I know that I’m not alone.
I have some very, very strong people and support system around me who say I’m going and people are like, super accomplished in the business world that say, I’m going through the same stuff that you know, I’m fortunate enough to be able to talk about it. But one of the things is I think that what we all are struggling to figure out is what works now for us.
When tasks that would take me two hours, now stretch out to a whole day test that would take me a full day. Now take me three days. And it’s, I think that’s part. It’s normal, it’s part of us all adjusting. It’s part of us all adapting. It’s part of us all being human.
And the thing is, is that if you take anything away from this video, and I hope that you know, you do, get something from it, check in with your people, check in with your clients, especially check in with your family members, check in with, you know, your friends, make sure that they’re doing okay, and now it’s time more than ever to ask them like, Hey, are you alright? You need anything? How can I help you? You know, and I think that together, we can overcome this together we can sort of create, create what we all need, so that we can go ahead and make this world positive.
You know, we can all you work towards successes and work towards our goal. So I hope everybody’s doing well out there. If you guys need anything from me, please please let me know you can get me on instagram or twitter at grTaylor2. That’s the number two.
And you know Trinity web media is here for you guys. However we can be however you need us to be. And we just look forward to all of us sort of adapting, adjusting and overcoming What’s going on everybody stay safe out there. Everybody be well and let’s get let’s get this taken care of together. Thanks for watching.
