Being a True Partner & Problem Solving

Being a True Partner & Problem Solving

Everything we do here at Trinity Web Media revolves around problem solving. Whether it’s regarding the creation of a form, a social media post, content creation, etc. we strive to provide value by resolving business issues. Unfortunately, we often run into marketers that are stuck in their ways and not willing to make changes. The bottom line is, if you aren’t willing to adjust, you will not make progress for your clients.

Being a true partner and problem solving go hand and hand. When you work as a team to solve problems, you can then go and reach out to your clients and help them directly. Let’s talk more about this concept on today’s Trinity Web Minute featuring Greg Taylor.

Hey, everyone. Thanks for checking out another bonus episode of the new Marketing Show catching us on Instagram TV, YouTube, on our website where we get this content, we definitely appreciate you. Today, I want to talk about being a true partner, and problem-solving. So everything that we do when it comes to marketing, everything that we do when it comes to web development, everything we do when it comes to content creation, we should be trying to solve a larger problem.

So what problems are you solving? When you are asked to create a new form? on a website? what problem are you solving, when you’re asked to write an article about a certain topic, you know, everything goes back to solving the problem in a manner that moves a business forward towards their goal.

When it comes to like, let’s just use forms, for example, what we’re trying to do when we’re developing a form is we’re trying to give the user a better experience, getting their information into our systems, maybe we’re going to processing application, maybe it’s a contact form, that they want more information, maybe it’s for them to get a lead magnet, you know, anything like that.

So what we’re trying to do with the problem we’re solving is, we’re trying to make it very, very easy for someone to give us information so that we can better help them. I think that too many times, developers and marketers are stuck in their own way, as to I will do this because this is easy. Or I will do it this way. Because this is the way that I know how to do it. Or I want to do it this way. Because I don’t care about the client, I don’t care about the end result.

So too often, that happens and that attitude is taken. And what we end up doing is we don’t end up helping anybody, but as a development community, as a marketing community, if we actually stop and say, how do you currently do this now? What challenges does it present? You? How can we make it better, that what we’re doing is we’re all critically thinking about solving a bigger problem, versus just checking a box and getting things done.

You know, personally, I loth mediocrity, and I don’t want to check boxes to get things done. I want to make sure that whatever we do as a team, or we do as a company, has a bigger impact. So think about that stuff. And conversely, you know, if you’re a client, think about when you’re working with a team, think about what problem is this team solving? How are they solving it? Is there a better way to do it? You know, are they a true collaborative partner where they’re listening to my input, rather than just being the no at all.

So a lot to think about there. But you know, when you get on the same team, when you get on the same page, and when you get on the same wavelength with the rest of your team, the problems that you were solving really impacted business and make things easier, make things better, and make things hopefully more profit, and you’re able to help your clients even better.
