Avoiding Burnout & Finishing the Year Strong

We’re coming up on the end of the year, and we’re sure you can agree, stress is an all-time high. It’s becoming more critical there ever to stay conscious of the amount of work you’re taking on while avoiding burnout.

Take care of your business and your employees, but most importantly, yourself. Don’t underestimate the importance of taking time to make sure your mental health is in order. There are tons of moving parts during this time of year, so don’t feel bad; it’s all a part of the work-life balance.

Hey, everyone, welcome to another bonus episode of the New Marketing Show catching us on Instagram, TV, YouTube, wherever you getting this content, we definitely appreciate you. So we’re entering into the heart of the quarter for we’re entering into the holiday season, we’re entering into the season where everybody feels stress.

So I want to talk about what do you do to recharge yourself to make sure that you’re still on your game, that you’re making sure that things are taken care of the way that they need to to satisfy your company, your business, your clients and all that good stuff.

And how do you just make sure you take care of yourself? So you know, one of the things that I do is I make sure that I prioritize personal and work and you know, typically I have one list that commingle is both of them because I believe in the work life blend. So what I like to do is I like to tackle the things that are the most important first and then work my way down the list. Two things that don’t really matter. It’s kind of the Stephen Covey, you know, quadrant system where

The last thing I want to ever work on are things that are urgent but not important. Absolutely. The other things that I’m do is I make sure I take time for myself, make sure I take time to go to the gym to make sure that in all the crazy hustle bustle, I get enough sleep, and I eat right. And most importantly, whenever I feel overwhelmed, I make sure that I talked to somebody or I asked for help.

You know, asking for help is one of the greatest things that we can do when it comes to getting things done, and staying on point and making sure that you are really, really being effective.

The other trick that I have to staying effective and not getting burnt out saying no.

Important to say no to things that you really can’t do, or the things that you don’t want to do. It’s important to say no to protect that time and to protect everything else that is very important to you to make sure that you are taking care of yourself. So throughout quarter for here, let’s all finish strong. Let’s all finish happy. Let’s finish healthy. And let’s make sure we stick together and make sure that

You know if anything happens, raise your hand ask for help. And you’ll be surprised how many people will actually come and help you. So hey, thanks for checking us out. Thanks for watching this you can get more episodes of the new Marketing Show at Trinitywebmedia.com/Apple-podcast.

What our clients say…

While I’ve known Greg for years from our time together in the marketing scene, I’ve only recently had the chance to work with Trinity Web Media on a client project. Not only was the team professional and their work spot on, they were amazingly quick to respond and required very little hand-holding along the way. I chalk that up to their past experience and a deep understanding of best-in-class services.

What our clients say…

I have hired Greg and the Trinity team multiple times for work on my own websites, and have also hired them to work on behalf of multiple clients. He is simply a pleasure to work with, in every respect. Smart but without the giant ego of some developers, Trinity Web Media works with his clients to achieve their vision in the best way possible — with careful attention to their interests, and thoughtful recommendations based on his expertise. • Susan Baier – Founding Marketing Strategist – Audience Audit
