Personal Branding

June 6, 2019 by Kevin Eberle

Personal Branding

In the modern world of digital marketing, it’s become evident that people no longer want to work with just another business or brand, they want to work with other people. Before clients hire us for a project, they can get a snapshot of who they’ll be working with through LinkedIn profiles, Instagram pages, etc.

Now more then ever, it’s key to account for personal branding. Begin to recognize how much it can help (or hurt) the growth of your business.

Greg talks about the real value of personal branding on today’s Trinity Web Minute, enjoy!

[Transcipt]
Hey, everyone, thanks for checking out another bonus episode of the new Marketing Show getting us on Instagram, TV, YouTube, wherever you get this content. So I’m headed off to Los Angeles today to meet up with some friends and for a couple of meetings. But I wanted to talk about personal branding today.
So personal branding is super important when it comes to your company, and your brand and your product service being hired from the public. What do I mean by that? You know, a lot of times before anybody hires Trinity Web Media, they go and they check out my LinkedIn profile. They go they check out Kevin’s LinkedIn profile, they go in, they look at my Instagram account, they go and they look at my facebook account, etc, etc.
So, you know, what you put out there to the world is just a little snapshot a little snippet of how people will perceive you online. Now things are typically you know, one of two ways you know, situations are either are, how they are really are or how people perceive them to be. So what you want to do is, I always want to be careful that I’m putting out my authentic self when it comes to social media that I am, you know, not censoring myself too too much.
There are some things that just don’t need to be public anymore, etc. But at the same time, I always want people to get a good snapshot, a good glimpse into what it’s like working with me what it’s like, what my personality is, like, I like to have a lot of fun, you know, I, you know, I, my interests. And I think that that’s, that’s all okay. People know what they’re getting into before they start talking to you more and more and more about business.
You know, in today’s day and age, people hire people, that people want to work with people. We’re going back to the people that people think the human the human interaction versus going and people hiring brands, people hiring companies, the market that Trinity Web Media serves is the middle to small range market where people work with people.
You know, we’re blessed that we get to work with a lot of CEOs and business owners and founders and you know VP of, of companies where we’re not insulated where we get to work right with the top. So they want to know exactly who they’re working with from the beginning. So pay attention to your personal branding.

Being you know, make sure that you understand and you know that your personal brand proceed your company and your product, your brand and your service. So you get that right. And I’m sure that your business will grow. Thanks for watching. For more more shows like this you can get us on at Trinitywebmedia.com/iTunes or wherever else you get your podcast. We appreciate you watching. We appreciate you listening.

What our clients say…

While I’ve known Greg for years from our time together in the marketing scene, I’ve only recently had the chance to work with Trinity Web Media on a client project. Not only was the team professional and their work spot on, they were amazingly quick to respond and required very little hand-holding along the way. I chalk that up to their past experience and a deep understanding of best-in-class services.

What our clients say…

I have hired Greg and the Trinity team multiple times for work on my own websites, and have also hired them to work on behalf of multiple clients. He is simply a pleasure to work with, in every respect. Smart but without the giant ego of some developers, Trinity Web Media works with his clients to achieve their vision in the best way possible — with careful attention to their interests, and thoughtful recommendations based on his expertise. • Susan Baier – Founding Marketing Strategist – Audience Audit
