Trinity Web Media is extremely honored to support the local St. Baldrick’s Foundation Fundraiser on Sunday, September 24 at the Sergeantsville Volunteer Fire Company.
Founded in 1999, St. Baldrick’s Foundation has become a major force in raising funds for childhood cancer research. In fact, this volunteer-led organization has donated more towards childhood cancer research grants than any other organization with one exception- the United States government.
This fun-filled event was months in the making, with participants collecting donations and fulfilling their pledge at the event to shave their head in solidarity with children currently undergoing cancer treatment.
This year’s honoree is 5-year old Annalise W. who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in 2015. She is currently receiving ongoing treatment at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Over the past 5 years, this local fundraiser has generated an estimated $250,000 of funds that will further benefit children’s cancer research. This is an amazing feat that demonstrates the power of community and what can be accomplished when we unite to change the world for the better.
