How much does a website cost?
The websites we design and development typically range from $1500 – $8000. Yes, we know this is wide range, but like other aspects of business the devil is in the details.
What affects the cost of a website?
Typically what makes a website cost $1500 or $8000 is the required functionality. Additional functionality may be tying your site into a POS system, complicated business requirement from your organization, custom design vs. using a WordPress template, creating various API calls for or integrating into a Customer Relationship Manager (like SalesForce) and the list goes on.
I thought WordPress was free, why does it cost so much?
Yes, while WordPress is free, the development of your site to specific business requirements is not. Our team of WordPress Developers are experts at solving business problems using the WordPress platform.
I use social media, do I still need a website?
Yes, without a doubt, the answer is yes. Social media, while very effective for marketing is based on content published to a platform you do not own or control. Social media platforms like Instagram or Facebook etc. change their algorithms often which may limit your company’s social exposure. When you have a website — you are in total control of your presence.
How long does it take to create a new website?
Most Trinity Web Media projects run 4-6 weeks. This timeline relies on whether or not assets like copy, logo and/or images are supplied at the time we start.
I do not live in your area. Can I still hire you?
Of course! Trinity Web Media caters to national clients of all sizes. We use tools like Slack, Trello, and ZOOM for meetings and easy ways to exchange information and feedback.
Will my site be mobile friendly?
All websites developed by Trinity Web Media are mobile friendly (also known as responsive.) We test all website designs for mobile devices, tablets, desktop computers and laptops.
How much input do I have in the website design / website development process?
You have as much or as little input as you desire. Our company is highly collaborative company and love to work with our client’s to give them a website that works for your business/web goals.
Who writes the copy for my new website?
We can take two approaches to new copy for the site. Trinity Web Media’s staff of writers can create new copy and content for your site, or if you prefer, you can supply copy written internally or by an independent writer you hire.
Where should I host my website?
When it comes to web hosting — there are many options. You can host the site with our company on our Liquid Web servers, or our development can assist you with a hosting plan that meets your budget and business needs.
Will you maintain my site for me?
Trinity Web Media has various monthly maintenance plans to make sure your site is always up and running.
Can you teach me how to use my site?
We love teaching WordPress to our clients. All of our web development projects come with up to three (3) hours of WordPress training.
When do I pay?
All projects are broken down into two or three invoices. After a 50% deposit is secured at the beginning of the project we can discuss invoices two (and three) and their respective due date.
