Sometimes the role of sales and marketing are blurred, and sometimes the role of sales and marketing are quite clear. When Sales has a defined sales process that is established and proven, it’s marketing’s job to support that sales process and the team. Conversely, if a sales department does not have a proven process that works sometimes it is best for sales to stay in their lane, do their job, create a process that works and let the digital marketing team do their job.
